What will it take to  glam up an already very glamorous penthouse in Kings Cross? Purple Phalaenopsis orchids of all shapes and sizes, glass vases and even some spear grass. Mix that with green goddess lilies and our favorite, chincherinchees; and we thought this place  was over the top before we arrived.

24th of November – Outside it’s raining but inside spring is in the air. Beautiful Mud vessels overflowing with David Austins. To cut through the prettiness and add texture we team chocolate antherium leaves with copper beech

We are gearing up for our promotional hamper mail out at the end of the month. We have chosen our oneliner (see post title). To get ready for the launch we are stocking up on supplies, Denis from Red Bottle www.redbottle.com.au has been helping us choose a new wine selection.  With all the shelves stocked we can’t wait to see how our customers respond to The Hamper Store’s  new web site.

Thursday afternoon we were involved in a wonderful event for charity. The Ray of Hope fundraiser for breast cancer was held at the Gallery of NSW in the main foyer. The Hamper Store also a boutique flower of shoot called The Flower Store. We had a lovely time filling the room with sunflowers (their signature flower). We are sure all the guests had a great time mingling among the artworks.
